SQI Passed Joint Review on Laboratory Expansion by CNAS Successfully

On April 13 to 14, SQI involved National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Consumer Goods, National Center for Quality Supervision and Testing of Distributed Power Equipment in Smart Grid (Shanghai) and other 7 national quality supervision and inspection center accepted the laboratory accreditation, qualification confirmation and measurement accreditation organized by China National Accreditation Committee for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). Mr. Ji Fei, president of SQI and Mrs. Bi Ning, vice president of SQI attended the meeting.
The on-site review confirmed 163 recommended testing objects, 280 testing standards, 7 items of calibration measurement and 7 items of measurement and calibration specifications, involving food, chemical industry, light industry, electrical appliances, textiles, building materials, lighting, electromechanical, metrology and other fields. Expert team conducted a comprehensive and strict verification of the conformity of the laboratory management system through on-site demonstration, document consulting, spot checking records and reports, verification of instruments and equipment and oral questioning. The expert group recognized the management system, quality control and technical ability of SQI.
In the next stage, SQI will continue to improve the quality management system to enhance the ability of risk prevention and control and continue to improve the key issues found in the evaluation and to play an institutional role to ensure the quality and safety of products in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta in order to create leading domestic and world-class government laboratories.
