On November 8, TüV Rheinland signed a strategic agreement with SQI.
Mr. Lutz Frankholz, CEO of Shanghai TüV Rheinland said
that as the first class of international certification institution to enter the
Chinese market, TüV Rheinland keeps company and witnesses the innovation and
inform of China. 2019 is the second year for TüV Rheinland to take part in the
China International Import Expo which is an important platform for China to
expand trade opening, promoting globalization and trade liberalization and providing
more opportunities for third-party certification bodies and to promote the
strategic alliance between Chinese and foreign testing certification bodies and
national laboratories.
Person in charge of Institute of Quality Inspection of
Electronics and Electrical Appliances said that the cooperation between TüV
Rheinland and SQI marks the beginning of a new chapter in the field of fire
alarm testing. As a comprehensive inspection institution, SQI actively provide
better services to promote the development of global trade facilitation. With
the further improvement of the service and international certification,
accreditation, inspection and testing, more funds and talents will be attracted
to enter the certification and testing market and foreign investment in the
field of certification and testing in China will be expanded. An open,
inclusive and win-win ecosystem of mutual trust will be constructed.
At present, SQI has owned CNAS qualification on fire
alarm products and has authorized 23 domestic and foreign standards. The testing
capacity of SQI is at the first-class level in China with the products involved
including smoke detector, temperature detector, manual alarm button, fire
hydrant button, etc.
