On Dec. 8th, Siegwerk Shanghai delegation led by Mr. Thomas Auris, chief executive for China visited SQI for communication. President Ji Fei, vice president Bi Ning and person in charge from relevant divisions attended the reception meeting.

On the meeting, both side communicated deeply on the topic of food contact ink and relevant products. Mr. Ji Fei and Mrs. Bi Ning introduced respectively SQI’s organization structure, capability and qualification and our achievements in governmental tasks, energy saving, emergency response etc. Dr. Luo Chan and Dr. Liu Jun from Institute of Quality Inspection of Light Industry and Chemical Products introduced the concept and types of food contact ink and relevant regulation and standards. Both sides warmly discussed on the product safety and compliance, test methods, standard building and the development prospect of food contact ink.

Mr. Ji Fei hoped that both side would cooperate from multiple perspectives in the field of food contact ink such as test standards building, regulation research, risk monitoring and assessment, emergency response and communication and training. Siegwerk hoped that both side would deepen the technique cooperation to enhance the industry level and safeguard the product quality.

After the meeting, the guest visited the laboratories for food contact materials, children’s products, student’s supplies and footwear and bags.
