Recently , ISO 2370：2019 Textiles - Determination of fineness of flax fibres - Permeametric methods which was revised by the host of SQI was published officially.

The edition of this standard replaced the edition of 1980 and increased a new test method to measure the fineness of flax fibers which is suitable for the test of various forms of flax fibers. The issuance of this standard provides a unified and effective basis for international trade activities of flax fibers and further enhances China''s international voice in the field of natural cellulose fibers standards.

It is the third standard published since SQI Institute of Fiber Quality Inspection undertook the ISO/TC 38/SC 23/WG 02. In the next stage, SQI will continue to actively promote the construction of international standards and to chair and participate in the formulation and revision of various international standard aiming at playing an important role in the formulation of international standards and the mutual recognition of domestic and international standards which can help the transformation of Chinese standards from out to in.
