On August 21, entrusted by Jingan District Market Supervision and Regulation Bureau, SQI conducted training for Fonterra Shanghai on GB 23350-2009 Requirements of restricting excessive package - Foods and cosmetics.

On the seminar, experts from Institute of Metrology Quality Inspection and Supervision of SQI introduced the definition, testing method, criteria and etc. and demonstrated the damage of excessive package. SQI appealed low carbon consumption by saving resources and reducing the generation of waste.

As a governmental laboratory, SQI will continue to fulfill social responsibility and strengthen supervision on commodity packaging, which could actively guide consumers to green and reasonable consumption and promote the establishment of a resource-saving and environment-friendly society.
