On August 18^th, Mrs. Li Xia and Mr. Xu Guanrong, Secretary-general and Chief Supervisor of Shanghai Furniture Association, visited SQI for communication. Mr. Jifei, President of SQI, and Director of SQI Institute of Quality Inspection of Building Materials & Interior Decoration attended to communication.

Mrs. Li Xia and Mr. Xu Guanrong introduced the developing circumstances of Shanghai Furniture Association and the cooperation of standards drafting and revising with SQI. Mr. Jifei introduced the basics of SQI, the operation of National Furniture Standards Technical Committee and the international standardization achievements of SQI.

SQI and Shanghai Furniture Association had a deep discussion in the fields of house customization, smart home, and smart kitchen & toilet. To promote Shanghai furniture brands’ leading and to contribute to “Shanghai Quality”construction, both sides decided to communicate and cooperate further in the future, identifying furniture standardization as entry point to complement each other’s advantages and to realize mutually benefit.
