On April 27, Shanghai municipal government advanced commendation conference which was meant to celebrate 51 International Day was held in Shanghai. SQI was awarded 2016 Shanghai May 1 Labour Medal and received recognition at the scene.

From August 2016 to October, SQI participated in the city''s indoor air quality testing labor competition organized by Shanghai Municipal Bureau of quality supervision organization. The competition includes three rounds of skills contest (theoretical knowledge, on-site sampling, blind analysis). SQI ranked first in written examination, operation and the total score and won first prize in the contest.
