On April 14, SQI held seminar on Chinese Traditional Furniture Nouns national standard in Guangzhou. Mrs. Luo Jufen, Professor Senior Engineer of SQI and the secretary general of National Furniture Standardization Committee host the meeting.

On the meeting, experts optimized the classification structure of the terms in the standard by careful discussion and revision of the draft and statement by word by word and streamlined or merged some of the terms in the standard. In addition, the experts also suggested that the standard drafting group should have a picture description of the terms and definitions that were easily ambiguous in the standard and presented in the form of a list to increase the readability of the standard.

This meeting laid a good foundation for the implementation and application of the standard.
