On October 20th, SQI Institute of Quality Inspection of Electronics and Electrical Appliances passed successfully the pre-review of the Product Safety of Electrical Appliance & Materials (PSE).

On the review site, the expert group reviewed comprehensively the laboratory system documentation, technical ability, instrument and equipment, personnel qualification, reporting experience and laboratory site of SQI Institute of Quality Inspection of Electronics and Electrical Appliances. The reviewed items were related to wiring devices (including electrical accessories), small single-phase transformer, electric appliances, electrical mechanical appliances, portable generator, electromagnetic compatibility etc. The expert group confirmed the laboratory equipment, certification and inspection management process as well as experienced staff and good mental outlook of SQI and consensually agreed SQI to passe the PSE on-site pre-review.

The successful pass of the pre-review ensured that SQI’s lab technical ability meet the requirements of PSE relevant laws and regulations and got ready for SQI laboratory to pass PSE accreditation in 2018 and lay a good foundation for SQI to carry out PSE product testing and certification.
