In order to strengthen the supervision on the supply of students'' clothes, ensure the quality of students'' clothes and to safeguard the interests of students, 2017 Shanghai college students apartment beddings manufacturers group purchasing check was carried out from July 24 to 26 when the terms nearly begins. The co-check work group was consisted of Institute of Fiber Quality Inspection of SQI, Shanghai University, and Shanghai Ocean University and so on.

Despite of the hot weather of nearly 40 ℃, the work group carried out on-spot check of 9 main manufacture suppliers in Shanghai, Zhejiang Province and Jiangsu Province. Members of the inspection team inspected the production workshops, raw materials warehouses and finished goods warehouses of the enterprises respectively, and extracted some products and raw materials and draw out some examples from the raw materials and products which were being produced and brought back to laboratories for inspection. If any problem were found unqualified after the inspection, work group would immediately stop the supply of the batch of products and organize the goods separately.

In terms of quality and safety guarantee of College Students'' apartment bedding supplies, Institute of Fiber Quality Inspection of SQI has closely cooperated with Shanghai college rear service department for more than 10 years. Later, Institute of Fiber Quality Inspection will organize volunteers into colleges and universities to propagate product quality and safety and safeguard the interests of the students.
