SQI Was Invited to Attend China Self-service Shop Business Guide Session

On November 8, China Self-service Shop Business Guide Session hosted by Ministry of Commerce of the PRC was held in Beijing. SQI was invited to attend the session as the host drafter unit for 2017 Shanghai local standard of hygienic norm for the production of automatic sale of ready-to-eat food.

On the session, Professor Liu Yang of SQI Institute of Quality Inspection of Food and Cosmetics introduced the formulation and preparation condition of hygienic norm for the production of automatic sale of ready-to-eat food. She also introduced SQI’s inspection and authentication ability on electric appliance, food and food related products and put forward some constructive suggestions to the standard text. This hygienic norm was the first one in China to regulate the production of automatic sale of ready-to-eat food which met the need of difficult solution of industry development and the key point of government supervision. The formulation of the hygienic norm was supported and concerned by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning, Shanghai Food and Drug Administration, Ministry of Commerce of the PRC and China Commerce Association for General Merchandise.
