On June 17 to 22, Dr. Zhuang Xiaobo was invited to attend the 29th CIE General Meeting which was held in Washington DC.

In the occasion of poster communication, Dr. Zhuang posted his thesis named as Measurement and analysis on table lamps with dimming and toning functions, which mainly describes the determination of minimum photometric level, short-term stroboscopic indication value and stroboscopic effect in reading and writing desk lamp testing according to relevant international standards. Dr. Zhuang discussed and communicated with the experts from all over the world during the meeting.

The meeting also invited Mr. William D. Phillip, the winner of Nobel Prize of 1997 to make a speech on The Historic Revision of the International System of Units. Also seminars on the topics of Scintillation/stroboscopic effect, color, road lighting, LED measurement, photobiosafety, natural light, color rendering, glare, distributed photometer were held during the meeting.
