China Forest Certification Council and National Standardization Technical Committee of Sustainable Forestry and Forest Certification Visited SQI for Communication
On August 31st, Mr. Wang Wei and Mr. Zhao Jie, Director of China Forest Certification Council and Deputy Secretary General of National Standardization Technical Committee of Sustainable Forestry and Forest Certification, visited SQI for communication. Mrs. Luo Jufen, Secretary General of National Furniture Standardization Technical Committee, attended the communication meeting.
In the meeting, Mr. Wang Wei and Mr. Zhao Jie introduced the history, business scope and the significance of China Forest Certification. Mrs. Luo Jufen introduced the basic situation of National Furniture Standardization Technical Committee in detail and project process of national standard Evaluation for Green Furniture.
The three sides had in-depth discussion on forest certification system being introduced to furniture standards, and decided to cooperate in the field of related standards to improve sustainable development of Chinese wooden products.
