On March 2019, Shanghai Institute of Quality Inspection and Technical Research was authorized to be the laboratory of Consumer Product Safety Committee of USA (CPSC).
During recent years, SQI has continuously strengthen our own testing ability and qualification expansion which has meet the related mandatory testing standards of CPSC for children''''''''s products testing ability. At present, SQI can carry out mandatory testing items such as lead content in children''''''''s metal products, children''''''''s metal jewelry, lead paint ban (16CFR 1303), phthalate esters, small parts regulations, textiles and clothing flame retardancy (16CFR 1610, 1615, 1616).
In the next stage, SQI will take this opportunity to match the international advanced standards, continuously improving our technical ability to strengthen our own capacity building, and expand the brand influence. At the same time, SQI will actively participate in the whole process of product quality control management to ensure product quality and safety and help the healthy, orderly and multi-dimensional development of the whole industry.
