On January 14th, Unilever China delegation of 5 professionals visited SQI for communication on excessive packaging of commodities, recycling of packaging plastics, traceability of recycled plastics and safety control etc. Mr. Ji Fei, President of SQI attended the meeting.

On the meeting, Mr. Ji Fei introduced the relevant testing and certification service of SQI and put forward to the current situation of increasing plastic pollution and the urgency and necessity of plastic recycling and risk monitoring. The experts from Unilever China introduced the relevant work on plastic reduction and recycling and exchanged the source, quality control and degradation of recycled plastic. He suggested that many enterprises in the industry were looking forward to the establishment of relevant safety standards and technical specifications as soon as possible. How to reduce packaging quantity, crack excessive packaging and promote green environmental protection on the basis of ensuring product performance were also discussed on the meeting. The two sides said that under the framework of the newly signed memorandum of strategic cooperation, we would make advantage of the R&D ability to deepen the cooperation and fulfilled the social responsibility jointly to help the healthy development of the industry.

After the meeting, the Unilever China delegation visited the SQI cultural exhibition hall and understand the development history, research result and achievements.
