On Nov.11, 2016, Shanghai Anti-fake and inferior commodities Inspection Center launched opening ceremony in Shanghai. The center is the first institution in China and is supported by SQI and SIFDC. Vice President Weng Shiyu of SQI addressed on the opening ceremony.

Mr.Weng said that as a national institute of quality inspection and research, SQI’s capability covered test, inspection, metrology calibration, certification, standardization service and training and consulting. SQI has performed its duty actively in safeguarding people’s livelihood security, responding emergencies and monitoring product quality safety risk.

As the supporting institute of the first inspection center to against fake and inferior commodities, SQI will continue to play a role as a governmental laboratory and help to safeguard the people’s livelihood.
