From October 14 to 25, 2019, the 83rd IEC General Meeting with the theme of "quality makes a better life" was held in Shanghai. On October 14, IEC/TC34/SC34A/WG4 meeting was held in Shanghai Expo Center. Mrs. Shi Xiaohong, Senior Engineer of SQI SALT attended the meeting.

On the meeting, experts discussed the safety standard of LED light source, several proposal documents of LED light source performance standard, CD document opinion summary table and processing sheet. IEC/TC34/SC34A/WG4 is the working group of LED light source and its main aim is to integrate multiple current LED light source safety standards into one and modify the technical content. More than 20 experts attended the meeting.
