On October 20th, SQI Institute of Fiber Quality Inspection expert was interviewed by STV News Perspective on school uniform quality safety.

In the interview, Mr. Yao Huilong of SQI Institute of Fiber Quality Inspection said that Shanghai has established a strict regulatory process and blacklist system to prevent students from unqualified uniforms. If manufacture enterprises was regulated in the supervision directory by the government, the products should be inspected qualified both by submitting to institution and sampling by the government. On this basement, on one hand sooner, SQI helped to guide the uniform manufacturer speed up upgrading reform to interface the change. On the other hand, SQI innovated means and developed simple uniform inspection report and carried out training for workers in the manufacture enterprises which has achieved good effects till now. Mrs. Tan Yujing, SQI expert from Institute of Fiber Quality Inspection expressed that since the implementation of the double censorship system, it has not occurred that harmful substances such as azo and formaldehyde was found overproof in the quality supervision and spot checks of school uniforms.
