On January 18, SQI Institute of Quality Inspection of Light Industry and Chemical Products successfully passed the EU Notice Agency Authorized Glass Laboratory Qualification on-site assessment and was authorized TÜV Rhine EU notice agency authorized glass laboratory qualification. Mr. R.(Ron) Brandhorst, lead auditor of TÜV Rhine EU Notice Agency attended the assessment.

On the assessment site, Mr. R.(Ron) Brandhorst reviewed SQI’s qualification of glass products and related quality system management documents, instrument and equipment capabilities, operation and laboratory management. He considered that the testing ability and laboratory management level of SQI accord with the requirements of the authorized laboratories of the European Union announcements authority and they agreed to authorize and cooperate with SQI on the CE certification of glass products.

After the assessment, EU notice agency authorized glass laboratory empowerment ceremony was held in SQI which meant that SQI has become an EU notice agency authorized glass laboratory formally and will provide domestic and foreign glass enterprises for European Union CE certification, American IGCC/IGMA certification and Australia product certification and testing services.
