On Jan.12, Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision held 2017 Shanghai Food Contact Materials Expert Committee session. SQI relevant expert was invited to attend the meeting.

On the meeting, participating experts discussed and voted for the supplementary list of Shanghai Food Contact Materials Expert Committee. Then they communicated on the food contact material product quality supervision work. Mr. Liu Jun of SQI Institute of Quality Inspection of Light Industry and Chemical Products was selected as a member of Shanghai Food Contact Materials Expert Committee.

Shanghai Food Contact Materials Expert Committee was the first national committee which aimed at providing technical support for government supervision on food contact materials. It plays an important role in risk assessment, subject study, quality improvement and standard construction in the relevant industry.
