On May 19, SQI held custom-mad furniture national standard session in Beijing. Mrs. Luo Jufen, professor engineer of SQI and secretary general of National Technical Committee for Furniture host the meeting.

On the meeting, experts attended and discussed on 4 drafted standard related with custom-made furniture and analyzed the design of on-site detection scheme for harmful substances in customized furniture in detail. In addition, experts have optimized the general terms and definitions in the standard and have communicated and coordinated each other''s reference and cooperation among the standards.

In recent years, custom-made furniture has gradually become a hot spot in the market. The meeting further improved the technical content of the national standard in this field and improved the scientificity, applicability and operability of the standard which laid a good foundation for the successful approval of the series of custom-made furniture standards.
