On October 22, IEC/TC34/SC34D meeting was held in Shanghai during the 83rd IEC GM. Mrs. Shi Xiaohong and Yang Yue, professor senior engineer of SQI SALT led the Chinese delegation to attend the meeting.

On the meeting, work of WG1, the development and revision of relevant standards were reported. The meeting listened to the report of WG2 working group and reviewed the maintenance of SC34D standard and also exchanged the report of liaison working group and the work of each member state.

The 9th edition working group and the person in charge of the IEC 60598-2-23 project were decided on the meeting. In addition, the meeting also held a handover ceremony between the new and old SC34D presidents.

More than 50 representatives from all over the world attended the meeting.
