During October and November, SALT sent professionals to Guangyuan City in Si Chuan and Suichuan County in Jiang Xi to participate in the improvement demonstration project on classroom lighting in primary and middle school in Midwest China, which was organized by CALI.

The project was involved in 27 primary and middle schools in 24 counties. Professionals often work until midnight because of the far location of the schools. The classroom lighting situation was improved obviously after adjust and was satisfied by all the teachers and students.

SALT hoped to make contribution to improve the lighting for children in Midwest China and develop a sound test plan to coordinate with CALI.
