On October 20, Mr. Wei Ping, Vice Director of Shanghai Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence Office led a delegation of 3 persons visited SQI for Communication. President Ji Fei and Vice President Zhu Chenhui of SQI attended the reception meeting.

On the meeting, Mr. Ji Fei introduced exactly the basic situation of SQI about our laboratory ability and talent team especially our qualification on serving for civil-military integration industry development including intelligent manufacturing, food and medicine, new energy and functional textiles industry.

Mr. Wei Ping confirmed SQI’s achievements in the construction of capability, technical equipments and talent team. He introduced the function orientation of Shanghai Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence Office, development of military industry, connection between civilian and military industry. He pointed out that civil-military integration development has become the state strategy of China and has significant meaning. The current and future period is the strategic opportunity for civil-military integration, and it is also the key period for civil-military integration from the initial to the deep integration and thus realizing the leap forward development. He focused that SQI should seize tightly this opportunity to constantly improve the relevant ability of military industry and actively participate in military weapons and logistics support work to achieve a win-win situation of military and civilian integration.

The guests also visited the laboratories of SQI Institute of Quality Inspection of Building Materials and Decoration of Furniture, Institute of Quality Inspection of Electronics and Electrical Appliances and Shanghai Alpha Lighting Equipment Testing Ltd. (SALT).
