SQI Provided Technical Support to SMBQTS for Special Law Enforcement on Baby Cribs

On September 26, SQI Institute of Quality Inspection of Building Materials and Decoration of Furniture expert assisted Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision (SMBQTS) to several supermarkets in Shanghai for special law enforcement on baby cribs.

On the enforcement spot, technical expert conducted rapid screening test according to the relevant standard on the samples for structural safety, bedside plate and bedside requirements, instructions and signs and other projects.

Technical experts suggest that infant spent a longer time in baby cribs which is usually higher than 50%-70% of the adults and children under the age of 3 is not mature enough to prevent being hurt due to external response. So it was possible for infants cause danger if unsafe baby cribs were used without nursery.
