On November 3 to 4, SQI and 9 national quality inspection centers which are based in SQI passed the expansion and change joint review organized by China National Accreditation Council (CNAS) secretariat according to the requirements of laboratory accreditation, accreditation, measurement certification / review approval (acceptance).

159 items, 217 standards, 67 calibration instruments and 79 calibration specifications were recommended for this on-site review, which was involved in food, chemistry, light industry, electrical appliance, textile, building materials, lighting, electromechanical and metrology. The expert group reviewed the compliance of SQI laboratory management system by on-site observation, documentation, record sampling and oral question. The expert group confirmed that SQI’s management system documentation is sufficient, appropriate and effective, management, technical operation and the document management system can meet the need of the basic requirements and inspection activities raised by customers.
