On Feb.3, industrial application forum for civil UAV in Yangtze River Delta was open in Shanghai Beidou west Hongqiao base. Mr. Liu Hong, person in charge of SQI Institute of Quality Inspection of Electronics and Electrical Appliances was invited to attend the forum and made a speech on current situation and development plan of quality supervision on UAV products.

Industry coordinated development, supervision, demand innovation and standard formulation was discussed on the forum and the R & D innovation center for the application demand of civil UAV in the Yangtze River Delta, Shanghai Xin Yi Flight Club, Shanghai Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Inspection and Calibration Certification Service Center was found on the forum as well. Shanghai Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Inspection and Calibration Certification Service Center was operated by SQI which means SQI formally covered the business scope of UAV product calibration and certification service.

SQI will play a leading role in the quality supervision and inspection on UAV products in the future focusing on agricultural plant protection UAV, UAV insurance inspection, UAV competition and business quality and safety testing etc..
