On September 9th, the 4th China furniture standardization International Forum was held in Shanghai New International Exhibition Center which was hosted by China Furniture Association and National Furniture Standardization Technical Committee and undertook by SQI. Mr. Ji Fei, president of SQI was invited to attend the forum.

On the meeting, person in charge of SQI Institute of Quality Inspection of Building Materials and Decoration of Furniture addressed the welcome speech and he introduced the basic situation of SQI and the achievements in furniture standardization. Focusing on the theme of intelligent furniture and electrical safety, the construction of intelligent furniture standard system, the inspection and certification requirements of foreign relevant safety regulations and so on were discussed and communicated on the forum. The experts also gave wonderful speeches on the market access of EU electric furniture, smart home appliances and smart life, electrical safety of American furniture market, UL safety certification analysis and wireless smart home.

This forum provided a platform for relevant experts, enterprises and institutions to help domestic furniture enterprises understand foreign policies and regulations and boost the export trade of related products by improving the quality and safety of intelligent furniture and promoting the construction and improvement of China''s intelligent furniture standard system.
